Special Issue entitled : Abiotic and Biotic Stress on Plants
Biotic stresses are major focus of agricultural research, due to the damage on plants caused by them. The relationship between biotic stress and plant yield affects economic decisions as well as practical development. Abiotic stress conditions adversely affect plant growth, resulting in significant decline in crop productivity. It has been becoming a major threat to food security due to the constant changes of climate and deterioration of environment caused by human activity. The new knowledge acquired through research of abiotic and biotic stress tolerance mechanisms in plants will help in the application of stress responsive determinants and in engineering plants with enhanced tolerance to stress.The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss the research aspects and techniques on plant responses and adaptation to climate change, biotic and abiotic stresses.


Scope and lists of topic of proposed issue:
In this special issue, front-line researchers and authors are invited to submit original research and review articles that explore “Abiotic and Biotic Stress on Plants”. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
